Question Akipon

Nice to meet you.

I have been using the information and calculation formulas from your company’s website for references. Thank you for creating such an informative website!
I myself do have a question for you today. I purchased B-16 standard disc springs sold by your company and installed them into equipment. I measured the hysteresis of the entire device, but then the springs bent. I would be very grateful if you could give me a hysteresis diagram for 1 disc spring. By the way, I purchased A-16.18.20 and B-16.18.20 disc springs.

Answer Tokai Spring

Thank you for writing to us, Akipon!

The hysteresis of the disc springs tends to increase as the number of springs in parallel stacks increases.
Regarding the hysteresis characteristics, please contact us directly from the link below for the “Disc Springs’ Technical Guidance”. My apologies as there is no data for each model.
