Question Spring Newbie 1017/10/20(Mon) 18:56
I have a question about the spring constant of disc springs. When a compression test was performed on one disc spring, the spring constant rose sharply just before the compression limit (solid height). However, such a phenomenon could not be analyzed by the finite element method analysis. Please let me know if you have any knowledge about the cause.

In the deflection-load test of disc springs, in general, when it exceeds 75% of the total deflection amount and approaches close contact, the load rises more rapidly than the calculated value. It seems that this is mainly due to the change of the fulcrum to which the load of disc springs is applied.
