Question Aki 2009/6/17(Wed) 11:41
Please let me know the operating limit temperature when a certain load is constantly applied to a C5210 flat spring. The change in the spring characteristics is not considered here. For now, as far as I can tell, the spring fatigue when it gets to 100°C (lower than the recrystallization temperature)? Is the recrystallization temperature the temperature during the tempering process?

Thank you for writing to us, Aki!
We do not have the detailed information about the heat resistance of C5210, but since the temperature of low-temperature annealing is 200 to 250°C, we estimate it to be 100°C or less (this is just for reference).
Also, the tempering temperature and recrystallization temperature are not equal.
