Question Spring Newbie 2006/3/22(Wed) 8:38
Nice to meet you. I’m a complete amateur about springs. Could you explain to me how to make a small compression spring? What is your company’s manufacturing capacity?

Thank you for writing to us!
There is no specific procedure for the manufacturing process, and the steps may be skipped or added. Sometimes a special process is required too depending on specifications such as spring application, required quality, and cost.
Here we introduce to you the standard process of cold-formed compression coil springs as an example.
Coiling → Low-temperature annealing → End coil grinding → Inner and outer chamfering → Shot peening → Low-temperature annealing → Setting → Anticorrosion treatment.
We hope you find this helpful!
We are happy to answer any inquiries regarding technology, specifications, materials, etc. Please feel free to ask.
