Question Spring Newbie

When a 50 kg load is supported by four springs with a free height of 40 mm and spring constant of 25 N/mm, is the natural frequency (Hz) of the springs due to the load 0.23 Hz?

Answer Tokai Spring

Thank you for your inquiry.
Natural frequency = √k / m X 1 / (2xΠ (pie)) in which (kg) is the unit of mass (m), and (N/m) is the unit of spring constant k.
The natural frequency of one spring is √25000 (N/m) /12.5 (kg) /(2×3.14) ≒ 7.12 (Hz).
