Question Neba

This is my first time posting here.

Torsion springs have torque and load. However, which is more important?
I asked the person in charge of the spring company that I am currently working with, I still can not get it so I would like to ask for your explanation.

Answer Tokai Spring

Thank you for writing to us, Neba!

Torsion springs typically use torque. Torque is the load multiplied by the length of the arm. (All calculations for torsion springs use torque.)
The definition of torque is described in detail in the following link, we hope you will find it helpful! https://www.tokaibane.com/en/custom-springs/torsion-springs
