Question Seaman 2009/6/25(Thu) 10:20
I am selecting a spring that can be mounted on the outside of the SGP20A (φ27.2) pipe which will be used in the temperature of around 100°C is selected.
P482 is appropriate for the height dimension, but is SWP-B material okay to be used in this environment? If the heat resistance of the piano wire is not good, could you recommend a material for compression springs that can be used instead?

Thank you for writing to us, Seaman!
The temperature here is close to the temperature limitation of springs made by SWP-B, so I think using SWOSC-V or SUS304-WPB material is better!
