Some of the equipment used to excavate tunnels is actually a spring-used mechanism that supports a significant amount of weight. In order to perform the task, it turned out that the springs’ wire diameter needed to be very large in order to satisfy the required load, and therefore it was impossible to shape the enormous hooks for these extension springs.
Tokai Spring was able to solve this seemingly insurmountable problem by designing fitting-type springs by attaching screw-type metal fittings to both ends of the springs. Producing these durable springs that meet the required load and can be safely used according to the required specifications is now one of our main strengths.
