Thanks to our unique design that reduces friction and wear at the sliding parts between the spindles and springs, i-MC disc spring – an exclusive product of Tokai Spring for the main spindles of machining centers – can achieve a long lifespan. With the concentricity controlled at an accuracy of 3/100mm, the springs can deliver excellent performance even at high-speed rotation.
On the other hand, i-MC COMPACT, which uses high-strength materials provides more powerful performance, compactness, and longer lifespan, enables spindle designs that cannot be obtained with general-purpose disc springs.
Moreover, with a usage environment tester developed by Tokai Springs that exactly imitates the conditions inside machining centers, along with other exclusive testers, we can perform verification tests in the trial production stage. This allows Tokai Spring to support engineers in the R&D of new machining center models.
