Normally, when the free length of springs increases, the buckling phenomenon (which makes the springs bend laterally when extended and compressed) occurs. This leads to serious damage to actuator cases. The only way to solve this problem is to create a precise and stable clearance between the cases and the springs.
At Tokai Spring, we have advanced technology to control the buckling phenomenon and because of that, even long springs can be compressed and extended straight. As the result, the actuators cases can be made as compact as possible
