There are many things that look broken and unusable at first glance, but can actually be used again if only the spring is replaced. Our springs are used to revive broken items and restore them to their original state.

Problems and challenges

The doorknob on the door of the customer’s house was broken, and the cause was a broken spring. When the customer contacted the manufacturer, they were told that the part had already been discontinued and that it was necessary to replace the entire doorknob. However, the customer liked the design and needed a custom-made spring to match the current doorknob. Moreover, no manufacturer was ready to produce the spring because the quantity required was only one.

Solution

The broken spring was sent to us, we took detailed measurements and made a drawing. The shape and spring characteristics were left unchanged, the best material was selected and the spring was manufactured to ensure longevity.

Results

The door can now be used in the same way as before with just the right amount of force familiar to the hand, without replacing the complete doorknob. Also, the cost was much lower than the cost of replacing the doorknob.
